You might recall the weather bureau declared an end to La Nina last month which has brought two years of wet weather to much of the east coast. So with La Nina over, you may be wondering why New South Wales has been lashed with more heavy rain and devastating floods. Unfortunately the weather system can have a nasty tail and it could be back next summer.
